Martha Jefferson has two emergency departments. Each is staffed with emergency medicine physicians who are board certified and care for people of all ages, including infants.

Our hospital-based Emergency Department is ready to care for your emergency healthcare needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Ambulances are accepted at this location, which is also home to Martha Jefferson's Stroke Center.

at Peter Jefferson Place
Martha Jefferson's newest emergency department is located in our Outpatient Care Center at 595 Peter Jefferson Parkway. It is supported by on-site X-ray, CT, MRI and lab services and is open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m., seven days a week. Parking is free, next to the entrance and away from the congestion of city traffic.
